Short: Specification for OpenType available

Microsoft announced that specifications for the OpenType font format, being co-developed with Adobe Systems is now available on the Adobe and Microsoft Web sites. The specifications includes digital signature protection against theft or alteration. Microsoft also posted to its site a new family of free TrueType Web fonts and an anti-aliasing, or font-smoothing, tool for Windows 95 users.
