Short: Oracle, Vicom offer Multimedia publishing tools

Oracle and Vicom Multimedia said today that they will team up to offer a multimedia publishing system for viewing on the Internet and corporate intranets. Oracle's Video Server software will provide a foundation upon which developers can tailor Vicom's NEREUS publishing system to author, manage and display multimedia documents containing video and audio for viewing via standard Web browsers, Oracle said.
