Shockwave 7.0.2: some positive feedback

CNET staff
After several days of undiluted negative feedback regarding Shockwave 7.0.2 (see previous report), we have received a few messages from readers who have had success with the update. Lauren Schreiber writes: "I have no trouble with it." Larry Pacilio adds: "I've experienced none of the problems reported." Mike Kornienko has "experienced no problems with it. In fact, this is the first version of Shockwave 7.x which works correctly (finally!) under localized (Russian) version of Mac OS."

On the other side of the fence, Stephen Hirst writes: "People who wish to de-install Shockwave 7.0.2 need to be aware that it also installs a Shockwave control strip module. Unless this control strip module is also removed, it will render your control strip inoperable once the other pieces of Shockwave 7.0.2 are removed. All in all, a pretty nasty piece of software."
