Sennheiser 'reboots' two gaming headsets

The popular PC 350 and 363 gaming headsets will be re-engineered and relaunched for CES 2013.

The popular PC 350 and 363 gaming headsets will be re-engineered and relaunched for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

The PC 350 Special Edition and the PC 363D Surround Sound will both be shown off by Sennheiser at CES in January next year.

The PC 350 SE is a professional grade noise-blocking headset. The company claims that even when playing at full volume (which we don't recommend), 95 per cent of all sound will stay in the headset. The mic is noise-cancelling and the ear pads are designed for comfortable long-term wear, which makes it all sound perfect for LAN events.

The PC 363, on the other hand, features virtual 7.1 surround sound with Pro Long IIx. This model has an open cup design and a USB sound card attached.

Both of the headsets have volume and mic controls built into the ear cup and mic boom, and both will automatically mute the mic when the boom is raised.

Pricing won't be confirmed until CES, but we have both models in the office at the moment, and we'll have full reviews soon.
