Security firms Cryptocard, WhiteHat merge

Two-factor authentication company Cryptocard, whose customers include NASA and Google, is merging with managed security services consultancy WhiteHat UK. The companies, which compete with two-factor token giant RSA, have been business partners for two years. They will now operate under the Cryptocard banner.

WhiteHat will operate a managed service for the two-factor products made by the Canadian company. The move means Jason Hart and Gary Stacey, owners of WhiteHat, will become directors of Cryptocard.
