Say, what happened to movies in the Dock?
Did Apple just silently withdraw this feature?
A reader observes that when you minimize a playing QuickTime Player movie window into the Dock, the image in the Dock no longer animates - that is, the movie does not play, visibly, in the Dock:
with 10.4 a minimized QT movie in the dock continues to play. the same thing does not happen with 10.5. is it normal? i've tested with two different instals
Well, this is a feature I really, really couldn't care less about. But I have to admit that I see the same thing! I've tried messing with QuickTime Player's settings, but I can't get movie windows to remain animated when minimized into the Dock on Leopard, even when it worked fine on the same machine under Tiger. Did Apple silently withdraw this feature?
