Say what? Colbert thinks 'nerds suck at sports'

On Wednesday night's episode of his late-night talk show , comedian and Stephen Colbert explained his "insider tips" for betting on the NCAA basketball tournament. And he had some mean things to say about us geeks.

"Just toss out any schools with the word 'Tech' in their names," Colbert explained. "Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and Texas Tech--sorry, Bobby Knight." Then, Colbert elaborated on his reasoning: "'Tech' means nerd, and nerds suck at sports. You cannot block a shot with a solar-powered calculator."

Note to Mr. Colbert: Considering you were the one who hosted a , you might want to think about the fact that you're attacking your own species.
