The creative team in Samsung's ad department seems to be having the time of its life lately. We've had TVs catching buses to visit the State Theatre in Sydney; iPhone 5 queues being roundly mocked; and precocious children stockpiling Galaxy S4s in their bedrooms. Now we've got ... well, one of everything.

Designed to show off its smart recommendation function, where the TV will actually suggest shows based on your viewing pattern, Samsung's new TV ad has SWAT teams, post-apocalyptic road warriors, fantasy knights on horseback and even cowboys.

First revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the next iteration of Samsung's smart TV range should see the light on day in Australia in the near future, with CNET Australia receiving a "save the date" invite from Samsung for a launch on 17 April. We'll have pricing, model specs and more information about what smart features will be available locally after that date.
