Samsung just unveiled four new digital cameras, with at least three scheduled to hit this fall. One of them even doubles as a media player, though it probably won't replace your iPod.

Following in the footsteps of last year's Samsung NV3, the i85 doubles as both a digital camera and a portable media player. The 8-megapixel aluminum shooter measures just 0.8 inches thick and features a 36mm- to 180mm-equivalent internal zoom lens. It can play MP3s and its 3-inch touch screen can be used to watch movies. If those features aren't enough, the i85 also incorporates Samsung's World Tour Guide feature, first seen earlier this year on the L74 Wide.

Samsung also announced the next wave of its midrange NV-series of cameras, the NV8, NV15, and NV20. These three cameras sport 8-, 10-, and 12-megapixel sensors, and all feature brushed black, stainless steel bodies, and 3x optical zoom lenses. Like most of the last generation of NV-cameras, these three use Samsung's unusual Smart Touch interface. Instead of buttons or a touch screen, a series of touch sensors lining the cameras' 2.5-inch screens control all the important settings and features.

The Samsung i85, NV15, and NV20 ship this fall with suggested retail prices of $350, $300, and $400 respectively. Samsung hasn't yet released pricing or a ship date for the NV8.
