Samsung could be behind the next Google-branded tablet, if fresh Nexus rumours are to be believed.
The South Korean tech giant is beavering away on a slew of new tablets, SamMobile reports, citing a purported product roadmap for 2013. One of those is tipped to be an 11-inch Nexus tablet, that could sport the same octa-core processor that powers some versions of the Galaxy S4.
The report suggests that Samsung may be waiting for Google's sign-off before building the gadget, though it would make sense to see Samsung building another Nexus tablet, after the Big G trusted it to build the spiffing Nexus 10 tablet last year.
The Nexus 10 impressed us with its high-resolution display and reasonable £320 price tag. We awarded it four and a half stars and an Editors' Choice award, so I'd be keen to see Samsung make a sequel slate.
Samsung is further reckoned to be building an 11-inch Galaxy Tab, with a dual-core processor and an 8-megapixel camera.
Meanwhile an 8-inch version of the Galaxy Tab is also rumoured, that would feature a 1080p AMOLED screen. Samsung already makes an 8-inch Galaxy Note, and earlier today we brought you news of the company's new Galaxy Tab 3, a 7-inch slate with decidedly modest specs.
At this rate you'll need an Ordnance Survey map and a compass to navigate Samsung's increasingly convoluted product line-up. It these fresh reports prove genuine, it doesn't look like the Note 2-maker is feeling any more shy about creating devices with every screen size imaginable.
