Samsung NX1000 and NX20 arrive in Australia

Samsung finally lets its latest interchangeable lens cameras loose down under.

Two of Samsung's latest interchangeable lens cameras have finally arrived down under, after being launched overseas earlier this year.

The NX1000 and NX20 were first announced in April. Both cameras offer a 20.3-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, full HD video recording, Wi-Fi connectivity and Samsung's iFunction system. This lets users change common exposure settings by just pressing a button on the lens and rotating the focus ring.

The cameras are replacements for the previous generation of Samsung NX cameras, the NX10 and NX100. The NX20 is styled more like a shrunken SLR, and the NX1000 is a more compact model, as pictured above.

While Wi-Fi connectivity has been a mainstay for Samsung compact cameras for some time, this marks the first occasion where it has made an appearance on the NX range.

Both cameras are available now from photographic retailers. The NX20 will retail for AU$999, and the NX1000 for AU$749.
