Verizon subscribers awaiting Samsung's Galaxy S4 will be able to pick one up next month.

The carrier tweeted late yesterday that the S4 will arrive in May, and it promised to reveal more details soon via the Samsung Mobile US Twitter account.

Verizon is the last major U.S. carrier to chime in with a time frame for the Galaxy S4.

Sprint Nextel and T-Mobile recently confirmed that the phone will hit stores later this month. Meanwhile, AT&T and U.S. Cellular kicked off preorders for the S4 this past Tuesday.

Verizon hasn't yet revealed its price tag for the S4.

AT&T is selling the 16GB version for $199 with the usual two-year contact. The price for the 32GB edition will be $249, though that model is not available for preorder at this time. The 16GB version is also available contract-free at the full retail price of $639. U.S. Cellular's price for the 16GB flavor is the same as that of AT&T's.

More deals can be had through other carriers.

T-Mobile will sell the Galaxy S4 on April 24 for $149 down with monthly service payments that are likely to be $20.

Sprint will offer the phone three days later with a price tag of $249. But for a limited time only, new customers who switch to Sprint and carry over their existing phone number can score the phone for $149.

Samsung said this week that the S4 will be available across seven U.S. carriers starting this month and be sold through all of the major retailers.
