Samsung Galaxy S Advance coming soon to Three and O2
Samsung's Galaxy S Advance is coming soon to the UK, offering a 4-inch screen and dual-core processor for a hopefully affordable price tag.

Samsung's Galaxies are expanding faster than light. The freshly announced Samsung Galaxy S Advance is soon to hit Three and O2 for more swipey, Androidy fun.
The S Advance became official on Monday and the networks are already jumping on board. Three was the first to step up to the plate, having listed the phone as 'coming soon' on its site, with O2 confirming to us that it will also be offering the S Advance too.
Neither network was able to give any firm details on pricing, but with middling specs we're hoping for a wallet-friendly price tag.
The S Advance is, as the name suggests, an evolution of Samsung's original Galaxy S, but it also takes inspiration from the higher-end Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Nexus. Like the original S, it's packing a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, which we're hoping is as searingly bright and colourful as the others in the Galaxy range.
Taking design cues from the Nexus, the S Advance has a slightly curved body and screen, making it stick to your face a tad more comfortably when you're making calls.
Under the hood it's packing a 1GHz dual-core processor, which doesn't begin to challenge the chips in the S2 or Nexus -- or the quad-core chip rumoured to be powering the Galaxy S3 -- but it'll offer enough grunt to charge through all of your day-to-day tasks.
At 9.7mm thick, it's not the slimmest phone available -- especially when you compare it to the ultra-skinny 6.7mm of the Huawei Ascend P1S -- but we're hoping that added bulk will result in a lower price tag. The unremarkable 5-megapixel camera on the back should also bring the asking price down a little.
It will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which isn't the latest version of Android's software, but is still the most popular smart phone operating system and provides all the swiping, widget-placing fun you could want, as well as access to the hundreds of thousands of apps in the Android Market.
There's no word from the other networks on who else will be offering the phone, but we'll make sure you're the first to know when they announce anything.
