Three is playing the fame game with the Samsung Galaxy Fame. The wallet-friendly phone is coming soon to the 3G network, making another affordable option if you want to fill your pocket with Jelly Bean.

The Galaxy Fame is powered by Jelly Bean, the latest version of Android. It's Android 4.1, so isn't as bang-up-to-date as version 4.2 found in the Google Nexus 4, but hey, the Nexus 4 isn't exactly hard on the wallet either.

The 3.5-inch Fame has a 1GHz processor and a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a camera on the front for video calls. There's 3GB of storage for your movies and music, apps and snaps. It comes in pearly white and metallic blue.

That's the Fame pictured above on the right, next to the Samsung Galaxy Young -- although you'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference. The Young is another budget blower also announced this week, which is basically the same but with a paltry 3-megapixel camera.

Samsung says the Young will also go on sale here in the UK, but no network has yet announced it will carry the phone.
