The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy Mini 2 are coming to Three. The UK network wasted no time after the two Android phones appeared this morning to confirm they'd be available on contract or pay as you go.

3G-only network Three is usually the first to announce it's going to sell a new phone, and it hasn't hung about with the new follow-up phones to the popular Samsung Galaxy Ace and Samsung Galaxy Mini, a brace of wallet-friendly Android smart phones.

The Galaxy Mini 2 packs a 3.3-inch touchscreen, a 3-megapixel camera and 3GB of internal memory -- no wonder Three's so keen!

The Galaxy Ace 2 sports a 3.8-inch screen, a 5-megapixel camera and 4GB of memory. Sadly, neither phone offers Ice Cream Sandwich -- the latest version of Android -- but the Ace 2 is a dual-core phone, so has plenty of power.

Three has yet to reveal prices or release dates for the Ace 2 and Mini 2, although it's been around a year since the original Ace and Mini arrived, so you shouldn't have long to wait.

We haven't seen the phones yet -- no-one has -- but we've compiled our first impressions into handy previews of the Ace 2 and Mini 2 to give you an idea of what to expect from these Galaxy sequels. Both blowers will be at annual phone extravaganza Mobile World Congress next week, and so will we -- so we'll update our preview for a full review when we've seen what these babies can do up close and personal.

Keep it CNET for all the up-to-the-minute news, previews and hands-on videos of all the new phones from MWC, and check out the full line-up at our special phone-filled Mobile World Congress page at mwc.cnet.co.uk.
