While we're looking ahead to a Mobile World Congress, Samsung is still doing plenty with the original Galaxy S.model at next month's
Called the Galaxy S Advance, it inlcudes features that would be considered midrange at best. There's a 1GHz dual-core processor, 768MB RAM, up to 16GB internal storage, a 5-megapixel main camera, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter. In terms of software, the Galaxy S Advance runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and should come with Samsung's own applications (Media Hub, Music Hub, etc.) and ChatOn service.
There's no indication as to what pricing will be for the Galaxy S Advance, though most certainly it will be on the low end. The smartphone should touch down in various markets starting in February and will include China, Europe, Russia, and Asia.
