Though the star of Samsung's show at Mobile World Congress is the Galaxy S5, there were still plenty of S4 models scattered around the place.

Samsung is renowned for having a lot of floorspace at trade shows, with the Barcelona show being no exception.

Trade shows like Mobile World Congress and CES, held in January each year in Las Vegas, are a chance for vendors to show off a range of different products that people might not normally get hands on time with. On the floor in Barcelona, there was a lot of the same gear — no pun intended — from CES, including the console controller for Galaxy phones.

Products from all across the Samsung range were on show, including the new range of Note Pro and Tab Pro tablets.

Samsung also had a separate area for demos of its Knox security tech.

Over at the remote care management section, users were able to interact with devices used for healthcare and medical purposes.

Not everything is for such serious applications, however. This area had demonstrations for apps specifically designed for kids.

Phone-based payment systems are not new, but Samsung had some demos of point-of-sale devices interacting with a range of phones.

Just like at CES, Samsung had players dressed in livery from its Galaxy 11 fantasy football team on the show floor.

If you wanted a photo next to the cardboard cutouts from the team, Barcelona was the place to be.

The finished product was printed and framed for visitors to take home.

Also announced earlier in the year at CES, Samsung has partnered with Kidrobot, the maker of limited edition toys and clothes. As well as customised figurines, Samsung has also made a range of accessories for its Galaxy devices with inspiration from Kidrobot.
