Safari: now for Windows
Windows version of Safari debuts.
Claiming that they have built the fastest Windows browser to date, Apple today announced that it has developed and will begin shipping Safari as a Windows application.
Apple says that the impetus behind the release is a desire to parlay the success of iTunes (which has been downloaded 500 million times by Windows users) into a different market space.
A public beta is available from http://www.apple.com/safari.
