Safari: AutoFill can contribute to delays

We've covered a number of reports of Safari "delays" -- resulting in the spinning cursor -- as well as some suggested ways to reduce these delays. MacFixIt reader Barry Levine provides another suggestion, this one relating to Safari's AutoFill feature:

"It appears the Safari delay (the dreaded beachball) may be caused by the 'Other forms' checkbox in the AutoFill tab of Safari?s preferences. I have almost 500 'data sets' for various webpages in there. Once I unchecked the checkbox and re-launched Safari, the delay vanished. I?d appreciate others with this problem checking the number of 'Other forms' they have in their Safari prefs and trying this fix."
