Rumors of a Google phone sorta kinda confirmed?

It appears that a Google phone may indeed be in the works.

It appears that a Google phone may indeed be in the works, according to an interview with Google Spain CEO, Isabel Aguilera. Whether or not it turns out to be anything like an iPhone competitor remains to be seen, but the Google exec did say that a mobile device is one of 18 projects that Google is working on.

Of course, this is still very much in vaporware stage, but hearing this from someone within the company fold does lend some credence to a Google gadget of some kind, right? Well, we can hope anyway.
