Retail deals of the week: 18 Dec 2013
The deals are drying up as stores cash in on the growing Christmas urgency, but there's still a few good deals to be found. Here's the best we've spotted.
Good Guys has Sony's carry-friendly Bluetooth NFC Speaker for $88, which is $30 less than we've seen that in some other stores, but you'll also get the cute little Sony travel Bluetooth speaker thrown in. That extra speaker is worth around $80 so as a twin pack that's a sweet deal and a nice combo for Christmas gifting. Dick Smith is still doing lots of gift cards thrown in with products as its main pre-Christmas promo, as well as a lot of specials on headphones and mini Hi-Fi systems. There's also a great PS3 deal at Dickies, $398 for a 500GB PS3 with GT6, The Last Of Us, GTA V and Driver San Francisco packed in. Three brilliant games of 2013 there that makes that a real bargain. Big W has a great deal on the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7-inch. It's already a great product at a great price without a discount but Big W is selling it for $30 off at just $158. If you've ever considered one of those cheap crappy no-name tablets make this your choice instead!
