Repeated requests to reinstall iTools: a follow-up
Regarding yesterday's report on problems with repeated requests to re-install iTools, many users confirmed the problem (although it seems far from universal). It occurred with Explorer, Netscape and iCab. Here were some of the suggested solutions:
"Following one participant's suggestion on the Apple Discussion Board, I deleted the iTools cookie 'Fun' and reinstalled iTools. All went well." [Bret Marion] "When I had this problem I read the apple FAQ and it says to make sure File Sharing is on. Enabling the extension brought the iDisk up on my desktop immediately." [Hugh]
