Removing Boot Camp from Tiger requires setting the date back

Go back in time to before September 30th to delete the Boot Camp partition.

CNET staff

Users of the now-expired Boot Camp Beta under Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) have run into a problem: the Boot Camp environment cannot be easily uninstalled without the aid of the Boot Camp Assistant, which refused to run after September 30, 20007.

Apple has now addressed this issue in Knowledge Base article #306805, which recommends using the Date & Time panel of System Preferences to set the clock to a date before September 30, 2007. You can then successfully launch Boot Camp Assistant Beta (in Applications/Utilities) and use the "Restore the startup disk to a single volume" option to remove the Boot Camp partition, and reset your date appropriately (using the "Set date & time automatically" option if you'd like).
