We've been looking forward to a few big Blu-ray releases coming this fall, including "Apocalypse Now" (three-disc full-disclosure edition), which hits stores on October 19. As its title implies, in the box you'll find three discs that pull together "The 1979 Cut," the longer "Apocalypse Now Redux," and the "Hearts of Darkness" documentary.

"Apocalypse Now" (Three-Disc Full Disclosure Edition) costs $42 on Amazon. Amazon

Both versions of the film are presented in high definition for the first time from a 1080p transfer "supervised" by Francis Ford Coppola. You also get a bunch of extras, which gives fans of "Apocalypse" a lot to chomp on.

Other titles we're looking forward to on Blu-ray:

It's also worth noting that the "Last of the Mohicans" and "Thin Red Line" came out recently. We'll be updating our Top 40 must-have Blu-ray list soon, so feel free to throw out any nominees or talk about any discs that are on your wish list in the comments section.
