106851: Mac OS X: How to Add the URL (@) Icon to the Dock states: "By default, the Dock contains a URL (Web address) for the Mac OS X Web page that is represented by the at symbol (@) on a spring." This document explains how to get that icon when adding a URL to the Dock: "Drag the at symbol (@) from the Address field into the Dock, anywhere below or to the right of the Dock separator."

106836: AirPort Base Station: ISP Provisioning May Prevent Internet Connection via Cable or DSL states: "A method known as "hardware access provisioning," which some Internet service providers use to regulate access to their networks, may make it seem as if you cannot connect to the Internet." The issue essentially involves the MAC address, a matter we have covered before. And as we pointed out then, another solution is available for most routers other than the AirPort: Use the router's MAC Clone feature to "clone" the needed MAC address.
