Readers report: CameraMate update fixes Mac OS 9.0.4 conflicts

John Conley reports that the new USB CameraMate 1.17 drivers (noted here yesterday) fixed all of the Mac OS 9.0.x-related problems he had been having with the previous version of the drivers. Al Hatch found that the update "almost" fixed his problem. He writes: "I can now drag-and-drop any image file from a Flash card - except the most recent one. For example, if you took 10 photos, 1-9 copy with no problem; number 10 will freeze the Mac. Workaround: If you simply double-click the offending file - or drag it onto a JPEG application - it will open, and then you can save it to your disk drive."
