Reader's choice 2012: You find the deals!

Even cheapskates need a break once in a while. Mind pitching in today with your own deal discoveries?

A customized pair of OrigAudio Designears noise-cancelling headphones can be yours for just $40.
A customized pair of OrigAudio Designears noise-cancelling headphones can be yours for just $40. CNET

It pains me to admit this, but I couldn't find a killer deal today.

I briefly saw a refurbished Barnes & Noble Nook Color for $119, but it sold out before I could write it up. Plus, I suspect most of you are pretty sick of me covering that particular product (even at such an incredibly low price).

I was also tempted to mention a sweet CNET-only deal on custom OrigAudio Designears noise-cancelling headphones, but I like to keep the nepotism to a minimum.

I haven't done this in about two years, and probably won't again for another two, but today I'm handing the reins to you, the coolest, smartest, and cheapest readers in the whole wide world.

And why not? Time and again you've found great deals of your own and posted them in the comments section. So for today, and only today, that's what I'm hoping you'll do: find something really spectacular and share it with your fellow deal-hunters.

In other words, hit the comments and get your cheapskate on. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Personally, I'll be scouting extra hard for something extra awesome for tomorrow. And I'll see you back here then.
