RAM Doubler 2.0.3 open beta announced; fixes MS Office 98 conflict

Connectix has announced an open Beta test program for users of both RAM Doubler and Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition. It deals with the reported incompatibilities between RAM Doubler 2.0.2 and Office 98 (as previously reported on MacFixIt). "The most common sign of incompatibility was the inability to launch Word 98. Working with Microsoft engineers, Connectix has developed a solution in the form of an extension that addresses all known issues relating to Office 98 and RAM Doubler."

To give this extension a final testing, you are invited to try it out. Just follow the instructions in the RAM Doubler 2.0.3 Beta extension FAQ. Once the testing is complete the extension will be rolled into a new build of RAM Doubler 2 (version 2.0.3). The 2.0.3 update will be available as a free download from the Connectix web site.

P.S. Teresa Mahler (of Connectix) informs me that Microsoft's reference to RD 3.0 (mentioned below) was indeed a typo.
