RadioShack is joining the handful of companies to offer iPhone 5C preorders early Friday.

The retailer will begin preorders for all colors on three US carriers at its stores beginning Friday at regular store opening times, a source familiar with the company's plans told CNET. That includes Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon -- but not T-Mobile, which began carrying iPhones for the first time back in April.

This isn't a first for RadioShack, which has offered preorders of Apple's products in the past, including last year's iPhone 5. The retailer joins a growing list that will offer sales of the phone ahead of its September 20 release, including Walmart which on Friday announced plans to sell the 5C on contract for $79, or $20 off Apple's retail price. Apple's carrier partners announced plans to begin sales at 12:01 a.m. PT tomorrow.
