Mikhail Blokh, a 29-year-old finalist for a job as master model builder at Legoland California, said he's now proud of what he once considered a "sad and lonely" childhood obsession.

"It was one of those things, as a teenager, you don't talk about publicly because you think people are going to make fun of you because you still play with toys," Blokh said. "Once you become an adult, suddenly being a dork becomes cool.
