Quote of the day: Not believing a photo when you see it

In a story about new camera features that make subjects look thinner or decrease the look of facial lines, the director of Boston University's photojournalism program wonders how such technology undermines people's ability to believe in the integrity of photos.

"Now that it is at the consumer level and people are going to see this, I am not sure on a fundamental level that they are ever going to believe a photo when they see it," said Associate Professor Peter Southwick.
