Quote of the Day: Microsoft antivirus is a sham

Having launched its security lineup for consumers, Microsoft now turns its attention to security products for business. The software giant's name should give the company an initial boost in the server security market, but it will have to overcome entrenched competitors and wary customers to make its mark. Some customers are a bit more than wary.

"The idea of Microsoft coming up with antivirus software is a sham," said Frank Seichal of Old Bridge, N.J., who works in IT at a financial institution. "Why should I purchase software from Microsoft to stop the operating system vulnerabilities created by Microsoft? I can not believe Microsoft is getting away with this."
