Quote of the day: Gates: Bring on Google

During an interview with CNET New.com, following his Mix '06 keynote address, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates said his company is poised to take on Google.

"In terms of thought leadership, if someone said who's cool right now, obviously, Google would be high on the list there," Gates said, later adding, "Not many people are brave enough to compete with something with that kind of scale and momentum. Well, we are."
