Export quality has apparently been reduced for some file formats.

Decreased AMR quality We've received reports that the export quality of audio files encoded with AMR is significantly reduced under QuickTime Pro 7.2 relative to previous versions.

One reader writes:

"QuickTime 7.2 seems to have broken, or at least "massively decreased in quality" QT's ability to encode audio to AMR. Test files encoded from wav to AMR (e.g., when Exporting to 3GPP) are distorted when encoded with QuickTime 7.2, yet encode correctly with QuickTime 7.1."

Alternatives for AMR export include Switch.

Eudora issues Some users are reporting problems with launching Eudora after updating to QuickTime 7.2. One reader writes:

"I just recently got a new MBP 17 inch. I installed 6.4.2 and it was working perfectly. After the Quicktime update the other day when I double click on Eudora the screen turns into an abstract pastich of colored pixels that won't go away until I log out of the account. This also happens in a new test account. Quitting Eudora doesn't fix it - the screen remains unreadable until I log out or reboot."
