The service is now available on iOS, PS3, Xbox and Windows, along with smart TV apps for Panasonic, Samsung and Sony Bravia devices and some Blu-ray players and PVRs. Select Samsung smartphones can also access the mobile app. A BlackBerry 10 version was announced late last year, and is expected to launch soon.

The new version of the app can be downloaded from either the Nokia Collection or the Windows Phone store.

A spokesperson for Quickflix told CNET Australia that founder and CEO Stephen Langsford had recently inked a number of new content distribution deals in the US, expanding Quickflix's range of streaming movies and TV shows.

Unlimited streaming packages for Quickflix start at AU$14.99 per month. The company still runs a postal disc rental service in additional to its digital offering.
