QuicKeys X public beta released

CNET staff
CE Software has released a beta version of QuicKeys X. It can be downloaded here. The Read me contains this warning:

"The software you are about to download is a beta version of QuicKeys X. It is still possible there are significant bugs in this build of QuicKeys X. Do not risk critical data by exposing it to this software. Do not install this software on a computer that is critical to your business. It is meant for testing purposes only."

It also notes that the latest build is not feature complete nor are the icons final.

Margin note: The debut of a Mac OS X macro utility is very encouraging step that moves OS X one step closer to the goal of eventually attaining all of the functionality presently found in Mac OS 9. We have been using macro software since the days of Macromaker, and QuicKeys X is a welcome addition, even in its beta form.
