Quicken 2001 Check Printing Problem

Quicken 2001 may be unable to print checks for some users. Raja Hornstein writes: "When I try to print checks from Quicken 2001 to my Epson 1270 (with Epson's latest driver) I continually get a message to set my printing preferences and I cannot actually print. Last night, after fiddling with the obvious candidates (preference files, corrupted data file), Quicken support admitted that they had seen this problem in beta testing and thought it might be an extension conflict, but they hadn't been able to track it down. They were sure using the OS 9.04 Base set would do the trick, but it hasn't."
