QuicKBooks has Y2K bug

Another sighting of the Y2K problem on the Mac. For those of you that still use QuickBooks, Intuit has posted the following information (thanks, Andy Batt): "QuickBooks and QuickBooks Pro Version 4.0 for Macintosh Year 2000: Typing the date in any field, on or after 1/1/2000, results in a fatal system error. There is no workaround for this issue. Intuit will provide a free solution to affected customers by the end of 2nd Quarter 1999."
