QuarkXpress 7.0.2 released: License transfer function, new languages; download not yet available

QuarkXpress 7.0.2 has been released, bringing several enhancements to the venerable desktop publishing application.

New features include:

License Transfer functionality Allows customers to deactivate and activate the software without relying on external resources, making it possible transfer their licenses without calling Quark Technical Support. A press release states "This new functionality will make the transition particularly easy for Mac users who upgrade their Macs to take advantage of the performance increase offered by the Universal version of QuarkXPress 7."

New languages Introduces hyphenation and spell-check capabilities for various languages (Polish, Greek, Croatian, Finnish, Portuguese European, Portuguese Brazilian, Russian, Turkish, Catalan, and Slovak) and hyphenation support for Hungarian.

The new release also solves a number of small issues affecting the 7.0.1 release of QuarkXpress.

UPDATE: Quark has now posted a working download link for version 7.0.2 [175 MB].
