Pyle Audio

Pyle Audio slaps its brand on a lot of miscellaneous electronics, action cams included.

Its latest is the eXpo Hi-speed HD, which can record video at resolutions up to 1080p at 60 frames per second and shoot stills at up to 14 megapixels (an interpolated 20-megapixel setting is also available). It looks like it has the requisite set of burst and possibly time-lapse shooting options, too.

The GoPro-style camera isn't waterproof on its own, but comes with a housing that's good down to about 190 feet (60 meters), though a skeleton door comes with it, too. Also included is a little Wi-Fi remote that lets start and stop recordings and snap photos wirelessly; USB charging cable; removable battery; and bicycle and helmet mounts. It looks like the housing might be compatible with GoPro's mounts as well.

The camera's Wi-Fi can be used to connect to Android and iOS devices, so if you want to use your smartphone to control the eXpo via an app, you can. But perhaps what's best about the eXpo, outside of the $249.99 price, is that it has a 2-inch touchscreen LCD on back, so you can set up your shot before you start recording and then view your clips when you're done.
