Problems with reverse lookup in Address Book

Yesterday we reported problems using "reverse look-ups" (searching by phone number) in Apple's Address Book.

Several readers have now noted that if you type in a number to search, Address Book will reverse the digits and return entries that end with the new string in a phone number field.

For instance, if you type in '008' it will find entries ending in 800. It also affects letters in the phone number field, so searching for "TTY" or "YTT" brings back entries that have that in the phone field.

Reverse lookup... reversed.
