Press 3 opens job network for Mac consultants Press 3, providers of the MacCSE certification program for Macintosh techs has announced it is opening up its previously private job network to all Macintosh techs. To participate in the Press 3 Mac Job Network requires the applicant to have Macintosh experience, a current resume, and pay the one time membership fee of $14.95. In addition to the Mac Job Network, Press 3 has launched a new Resume Revision service. More.

Apple keeps Mac OS 9 alive In a statement re-published by ZDNN, Apple officials breathe live into Mac OS 9, which Steve Jobs previously presented in a coffin to the the WWDC audience. "Apple's professional customers are rapidly adopting Mac OS X, with more than 80 percent now choosing Mac OS X as their default OS," the company said in the statement. "To accommodate a minority of our pro customers still running Mac OS 9 applications such as QuarkXPress, Apple will continue to offer a 1.25GHz dual-processor Power Mac that will boot into Mac OS 9 until June." Will "Sims Online" change on-line gaming? CNET reports on the upcoming release of "The Sims Online," which many experts believe will alter the face of online gaming. "This time, the whole world is paying attention as Wright--creator of 'SimCity' and 'The Sims,' the biggest selling computer game of all time, prepares to offer up 'The Sims Online.'
