Practice your scales with the Fred Musical Straws

The Fred and Friends Wet My Whistle Musical Straws add musical accompaniment to a regular drinking glass. With practice, of course.

They say it's not okay to play with your food. However, while that may or may not be true, they usually don't say anything about playing with your drink. Perhaps there is some wiggle room in this law after all. For example what about music practice? If you are ever going to be good at piano or violin, you will have to practice. Even at the dinner table.

The Fred and Friends Wet My Whistle Musical Straw takes a straw plus a beverage and together, turns them into a musical instrument. Using the liquid level to vary the pitch, the fun drink accessory acts like a slide whistle. The fun toy is functional too; when it comes time to imbibe, just cover the whistle hole with your finger and sip.

Practicing scales may prove difficult, but as they say, practice makes perfect. The reusable drinking straws allow for just that. When the drink is gone, and the symphony is over (or all the people have cleared out of the room), the straw can be cleaned, and reused the next time inspiration strikes. And all this time you thought just blowing bubbles through your straw was fun.
