PowerSwitch 1.0 cosmetic error with startup icon

Mark Corrigan sent the following note to Binary Software:

"It looks like the PowerSwitch 1.0 software has the same October 1st expiration that the Demo version had. The control panel icon that appears during startup has a big red X inside of it - although, somehow, the software still works."

Charles Haspel, of Binary Software, replied:

There is a visual bug in PowerSwitch version 1.0.0. It causes the icon at startup to appear with an X through it beginning October 1, 1998. PowerSwitch continues to work fine, it is only a visual annoyance. We are working to fix the problem and will email you a patch ASAP."
