Post-Week-end Updates

a. FreePPP 2.5v3 is out The Updater to convert version 2.5v2 of the FreePPP MDEV extension to version 2.5v3 is now available. This update is recommended for every user of FreePPP 2.5v2. It incorporates the fix from Craig Prouse for the getbuffer crash released last week in FreePPP 2.6 Beta 1. The only change in 2.5v3 is this fix. (Thanks, Steve Dagley.)

b. CrashGuard 3.5b4 is out Norton CrashGuard 3.5b4 is the latest beta version of this forthcoming addition to the next version of Norton Utilities. (Thanks, John Harrison, of Symantec.)

c. Desktop Tools 1.0.3 Updater now available Desktop Tools 1.0.3 Installer updates Aladdin Desktop Tools versions 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 to version 1.0.3 for System 7.5.5 and 7.6 compatibility. Specifically, this updater installs a new Desktop SpeedBoost, Desktop Makeover, as well as SpeedBoost Monitor. There are no new features in the updated components of Aladdin Desktop Tools. This update is only for System 7.5.5 and 7.6 compatibility.
