The hand-made-focused online store Etsy, which recently changed its policies to attract bigger businesses, is bringing its particular brand of whimsy to Sydney for a Christmas pop-up shop.

The Etsy Christmas pop-up Sydney will run for 15 days from 28 November until 12 December at 74 Castlereagh Street, Sydney, and it will feature collections curated by a number of Australian style personalities, including stylist Jason Grant, Amy Moss of blog Eat Drink Chic, stylist Stephanie Somebody and Babyology's Mandi Gunsberger.

There will also be events hosted at the location. "Etsy, the place to buy and sell unique goods, present a 15-day pop-up shop in central Sydney. Shop from a wonderland of one-of-a-kind gifts across a wide range of categories, including jewellery, art, fashion, kidswear, quality vintage items and homewares," the website says. "Take part in fun DIY workshops, and witness demonstrations of skilled craftsmanship from a selection of local makers."

Events include coffee and pastry happy hours; tea, cocktail and wine tastings; photo booths; craft workshops; creator demonstrations; and vintage emporiums.

Visitors can also enter a competition to win an AU$100 Etsy voucher by submitting their best photos of the pop-up store.
