Tomorrow's the big day: At 10 a.m. (PT) Thursday, Apple will give the world a sneak peek at iPhone OS 4. Exciting, no?

Earlier today, CNET's Erica Ogg offered her take on what's in store for OS 4, including both expected additions like multitasking and longshots like Flash support.

Once you've digested all that, think about the one new feature you really, really want: the thing you're wishin' and hopin' and prayin' for. In other words, if Apple announced only one big improvement to the OS, you'd want it to be...this.

I have little doubt that multitasking will score the highest number of votes, though I'm not sure why. Running multiple apps simultaneously will likely slow down performance and reduce battery life.

Personally, I'm more interested in an app organizer, and along with it an easy way to jump between, say, a dozen favorite apps. I don't especially care if they're all running at once.

I also think syncing over Wi-Fi is long overdue, well within Apple's means (Microsoft's Zune's been doing it for years), and largely overlooked in speculation about OS 4. Alas, that's about as likely as Flash support. Guess we'll find out in 24 hours or so!

In the meantime, be sure to vote for your most-wanted feature--and hit the comments to share your entire wishlist.
