Launching at DemoFall is the new search capability in the Pluggd podcast player. If you're listening to a podcast in the Pluggd Flash-based player, and want to jump to the part that talks about a particular thing, Pluggd will find it for you -- it shows you an audio timeline with the segments you care about highlighted. It'll also find podcasts that cover topics you like, and play just the portions of them that relevant to you.

This is a very cool system, reminiscent of Blinkx and Podzinger. Its greatest problem is that it doesn't work on iPods or other portable players. So it's good for researching podcasts when you're sitting at your computer, but not so good if you want to skip ahead to the good parts while you're on the bus.
