Photoshop 6.0.1 update: a follow-up

Regarding yesterday's confusion over the "it's here; it's gone; it works; it doesn't work" Photoshop 6.0.1 update:

Several users who managed to download the update reported complete success in installing it. Daryn Edwards adds: "I checked on the docked character/paragraph bug that Steve Plant and I had previously reported, and it appears to have been fixed."

A couple of readers (including Chris Grantham) had the ImageReady error despite trying to install the update over a release version of Photoshop 6 (contrary to what Adobe indicated).

In any case, our recommendation is to hold off on this update until Adobe officially releases it.
