Philips on Monday unveiled a new health platform and ecosystem of products to empower people to take greater control of their health. The Dutch healthcare company isn't targeting fitness buffs, but rather regular people at risk for a chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, heart disease and high cholesterol.

The company previously announced four health-related products at the IFA trade show in Berlin last September. Those were the Philips Health Watch, a connected body analysis scale, a connected ear thermometer, and a connected blood pressure monitor for your upper arm or wrist. All of these devices are considered medical-grade and listed with the FDA.

As of today, the four products are now available for purchase on the Philips website. The Health Watch, which includes all-day activity, sleep and heart-rate tracking, is available for $250 or £250 (AU$330 converted) while the smart scale can be picked up for $100 or £90 (AU$130). Meanwhile, the ear thermostat costs $60 or £45 (AU$80) while the upper arm blood pressure monitor can be had for $100 or £90 (AU$130) and the wrist one for $90 or £70 (AU$120).

All the information recorded by these devices can be viewed and analyzed in the Philips HealthSuite app. The app gives users the ability to track nutrition, view activity data and weight trends over time, and receive personalized insights and motivation to better help them achieve their goals. It also provides guidelines from the World Health Organization for ideal body fat and blood pressure levels.

The Philips HealthSuite app is available now for Android and iOS. It requires at least one Philips health product for use.
